My aim is architecture. I’m drawn to it in part because the built environment is still full of buildings that answer every brief the same way — the default form, the safe material, the box. I want to be part of pushing back on that: spaces and structures where every decision, from the floor plan to the light, is the result of real thought rather than the absence of it.
Graduated simultaneously with an Associate's Degree through dual enrollment at Washtenaw Community College — completing both programs concurrently as an Honors student.
A public outdoor pavilion organized around a recirculating waterfall and wishing well in a closed-loop system. The 56′ × 48′ site spans two elevation zones separated by a terraced grade change that simultaneously resolves accessibility, spatial hierarchy, and waterfall drop height. Three gathering zones and two covered pergolas with sloped roofs are organized through Kevin Lynch’s five-element framework. Built at ¼″ = 1′ scale from 1.5mm basswood. Presented at the 46th Annual Undergraduate Symposium, March 2026.
