Property Reset & Care

Practical support for homes that need to feel clear, cared for, and checked on.

Overview

Veil Velour offers attentive home support in the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area for cleaning resets, organization, property check-ins, plant care, mail and package support, and practical household needs. Each visit is shaped around the home itself: the condition of the space, the rhythm of the household, access, timing, and the level of care required.

What's Offered

General cleaning, deep refreshes, move-in or move-out support, and restoring spaces to a cleaner, calmer baseline. A reset may include bringing order, freshness, and function back to rooms that have become difficult to maintain day to day.

Best for regular upkeep, first-time resets, move-in or move-out needs, neglected rooms, and spaces that need a clearer baseline.

May include surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, trash, light tidying, and room-by-room refresh work.

Best for a focused area, light refresh, or smaller space with a clear scope. May cover a kitchen and bath refresh, a few priority rooms, or a lighter reset before guests.
A broader reset for regular upkeep across the main living areas, kitchen, bathrooms, floors, surfaces, trash, and light tidying. Larger homes or heavier conditions may need a custom quote.
For first visits, buildup, neglected rooms, or more detailed work. May include extra attention to appliances, baseboards, cabinets, storage zones, or heavier room-by-room reset needs.
For empty or near-empty spaces before a move, listing, lease turnover, or fresh setup. Final pricing depends on size, condition, checklist needs, access, and timing.

Small resets are for focused areas or lighter spaces. Full homes, heavy buildup, appliances, baseboards, cabinets, or urgent timing may move the visit into a custom quote.

Support for creating calmer, more functional spaces through sorting, resetting, decluttering support, storage improvements, and room-by-room organization. Final decisions about keeping, discarding, donating, or relocating personal items remain with you unless clearly agreed otherwise.

Best for closets, storage areas, kitchens, studios, bedrooms, entry spaces, and rooms where function has become harder to maintain.

May include sorting, grouping, light labeling, layout adjustments, donation preparation, and storage recommendations.

A short session for one clearly bounded area, such as an entry zone, cabinet group, shelf system, small closet, or priority corner.
A better fit for a closet, storage area, kitchen zone, bedroom, or studio area where sorting and placement decisions may take more time.
For larger room resets, multiple storage zones, or combined sorting and setup work. Helpful when the scope may evolve once items are reviewed.

Blocks are easier to plan when sorting decisions may shift the scope. Extra time is billed from $40/hour when agreed before continuing.

Support for your home while you are away, traveling, or managing a busy routine. Check-ins may include mail or package collection, plant watering, trash or recycling assistance, basic visual checks, and reporting visible concerns.

Best for travel, busy seasons, second homes, plants, and households that need a trusted set of eyes while you are away.

A short travel or busy-week package for homes that need a few scheduled visits. Each basic visit may include mail or packages, plants, a short visible issue check, and a brief update.
A longer away-from-home package with a small bundled savings compared with six separate basic visits. Good for extended travel, recurring plant care, or a home that benefits from more regular eyes on it.
A simple weekly rhythm for mail, packages, plants, visible issue checks, and brief updates. Final scope depends on distance, access, number of checkpoints, and visit length.
Added to an existing package or agreed schedule. Covers a shorter visit for mail or packages, plants, a basic visible check, and a brief update.
Added when a visit needs more time, such as interior and exterior review, trash or recycling, thermostat or lights, extra photos, or a fuller report.

Check-in work begins as a 3-visit minimum package. Additional check-ins can be added once a package or recurring plan is set.

Additional visits may be added depending on schedule, location, access, care needs, and visit length. Unusual care requests are reviewed separately and accepted only when clearly agreed before service begins.

Additional household support may be available when the scope, equipment, and conditions are appropriate. This can include light outdoor upkeep, lawn mowing with provided equipment, trash or recycling assistance, porch or entry cleanup, seasonal preparation, and other small household tasks reviewed before booking.

Best for small tasks that naturally fit into a scheduled visit or help prepare the home before guests, travel, or seasonal changes.

Add-ons do not replace licensed repair, landscaping, hauling, or heavy maintenance services.

Optional household add-onsFrom $40/hour

Flexible help for household needs that do not fit neatly into one category. Custom support may combine cleaning, organization, home care, preparation before guests, seasonal resets, light outdoor upkeep with provided equipment, or other practical support reviewed before booking.

Best for mixed-service visits, recurring household support, guest preparation, seasonal resets, or unusual requests that need a short review first.

Pricing Notes

Pricing depends on the service, scope, location, condition of the space, timing, and whether the work is one-time, recurring, or custom. Defined visits may be quoted as flat-rate work. Open-ended, expanded, check-in, or add-on requests may be billed hourly, packaged, or quoted separately. Cleaning and reset estimates may also consider home size, room count, access, and requested detail level.

Launch pricing is currently focused on Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. Final pricing is discussed before service begins.

Services are reviewed for fit, safety, access, timing, and scope before they are confirmed. Unusual care requests are reviewed separately and accepted only when clearly agreed before service begins. Veil Velour does not replace licensed repair, medical, veterinary, landscaping, hauling, or heavy maintenance services.
